There have been reports doing the rounds that the Suriya starrer Thaana Serntha Kootam is the remake of the Bollywood blockbuster hit movie Special 26 . However, the film is not being promoted as the remake which was creating a confusion among the film buffs. Well, its director Vignesh Shivan has put an end to all the rumours with a clarification. While agreeing that the producers of TSK had bought the remake rights of Special 26 , the director revealed that it is not an exact remake. Only the core theme of the film has been retained while the rest has been changed to suit the nativity of the audiences, he is reported to have said during a recent media interaction.
